YING presents a unique opportunity for community members to share their skills with one another, fostering connections among friends, colleagues, and neighbors. This peer-to-peer skill-sharing platform facilitates collaboration by enabling users to assist each other with everyday tasks and common interests.

Through YING, individuals can receive on-demand requests from group members, allowing them to provide support while earning and spending a community currency known as the Balance token. Notably, each hour of assistance is equivalent to one Balance token.

In the context of the economic hardships and social isolation prompted by the pandemic, YING addresses the challenges of finding help with small tasks and combating loneliness. The platform encourages community members to tap into their social networks, unlocking both community capital and resources that extend beyond mere financial exchange.

The range of group skill-sharing tasks available on YING encompasses Help At Home, Ride-Sharing, Professional Services, Education, Health & Wellness, among other categories.

A noteworthy new feature is “The Gratitude Pot,” which allows users to give and receive cash tips as a means of expressing appreciation for assistance rendered.
